Who are we looking for?

 

We’re looking for a passionate demand generation marketer with proven success driving results with ABM. We are looking for someone who is obsessive about demand creation in an ABM model and can help Vision Critical stay ahead of the curve on B2B marketing trends. As our Director of Demand Generation, you will work closely with a variety of organizational leaders in marketing, CS and sales to keep the Vision Critical brand top of mind and to create a pipeline strategy that delivers value for our prospects and customers while driving real bottom line results. You will also build and manage a team of rock star demand generation strategists.

 

With a proven track record of leading successful ABM and demand generation programs across a variety of marketing channels, you possess strong project management skills and the ability to test, measure, and optimize your efforts over time to ensure targets are being met and the highest return possible for your demand budget.

 

What would you do in this role?

 

  • Demand generation strategy in a ABM model: manage overall demand generation and pipeline strategy, including tactic and channel execution for ABM efforts. Partner with ABM lead and strategize on programs that will succeed in targeting, engaging and winning target accounts. Bring and implement best practices around driving engagement for named accounts. Manage Martech stack and help optimize ABM tools.
  • Create and exceed targets: take ownership and continually question, measure, analyze, and report on programs across a variety of metrics, including account engagement, funnel lead generation benchmarks, and sales pipeline to ensure marketing is hitting their goals. Proof ROI in our channel investments.
  • Prospect lifecycle management: regularly meet with sales leadership and sales team members to discuss prospect process challenges and program effectiveness to improve deal velocity and conversion rates throughout the funnel.
  • Be a key stakeholder in operations: design and deploy an efficient global demand engine in collaboration with the global marketing and marketing operations team; streamlining data collection, tech stack management, program and pipeline reporting to reduce manual work and increase the quality of insight to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Website management: manage an internal web developer in the creation and production of a user-optimized, highly personalized and device responsive website ensuring the best possible customer experience for all our prospects.
  • Lead, motivate and mentor: manage a team of demand marketing strategists to push the boundaries of demand creation and execution and aim for excellence in everything they do. Be a major influence on leaders across the organization to align and adopt an ABM model.

Requirements

 

  • 6-10 years of enterprise B2B digital marketing experience.
  • 2+ years leading demand generation in a ABM model
  • 3+ years leading a team of experienced marketers with proven results of helping progress their careers
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or business.
  • Proven record for developing effective demand generation strategies using a variety of tactics such as digital advertising, lead generation and web marketing strategies including SEO/SEM, email marketing, web content personalization and marketing automation practices.
  • Proven record developing ABM strategies including running tiered ABM programs in conjunction with sales.
  • Ability to manage, mentor and inspire a demand gen team.
  • Effectively manage projects – prioritize and resource to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Fastidious attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders.
