Regional Sales Manager, ASEAN

In this role, you will manage the sales cycle from start (demand generation) to finish (closing the deal). You will maintain an ongoing sales pipeline to develop a sales plan and increase the penetration and revenue of an exciting market research community insight solution.  Vision Critical, is growing internationally and you could be part of building the Asia business and attracting great clients. 



  • Identification of sales opportunities, developing relationships and driving the sales process from start to finish
  • Conduct sales activities daily (emails, calls), book meetings and qualify prospective clients
  • Respond to and qualify incoming web inquiries and event leads regarding Vision Critical’s thought leadership marketing content
  • Collaborate with marketing, inside sales team to drive leads progression and qualification
  • Successfully driving lead generations, booking and hold compelling solution/consultative selling conversation, drive the negotiations and closing the deals
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Vision Critical’s solutions
  • Presenting pitches to captivate the prospective clients’ interest and engagement
  • Effectively managing sales targets towards a strong track record of delivery
  • Achieve, and where possible, exceed sales targets
  • Building, developing, and managing a rich and rolling sales pipeline
  • Engage and negotiate with C-Level Management with credibility and action


  • 3 years+ experience building and driving sales
  • A strong track record of delivery
  • Demonstrated successful knowledge of selling technology platforms within a B2B environment,
  • Ideally, the candidate will have some digital customer engagement experience, even if this is limited
  • Strong commercial and business awareness
  • A genuine passion for understanding the competition in the Asia customer insight/market research environment & interested in identifying how Vision Critical can successfully challenge & grow its business within it
  • Ability to speak at least one of the language such as Thai, Tagalog, Bahasa is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated a proactivity & passion about sales delivery
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently to build a sales pipeline whilst operating as part of the sales and client service team
  • A great understanding of different sales strategies & methodologies
  • Strong numerical skills, focused and strategic in terms of how to successfully approach the market to build and deliver a successful sales pipeline
  • Demonstrated an understanding of Vision Critical and its market space
  • Been a strong team player who works well with their immediate team and colleagues locally & overseas
  • A good sense of initiative, a flexible, open minded approach & a proactive & highly motivated person
  • Must be articulate, have excellent presentation skills selling to C-level executives in a boardroom setting
  • Willing to travel (25% -50%)
